I've been trying to track down the details of the 32-bit NetFS
interface, without much luck. I suppose I might have to hack the
information out of the L4FS program code :(

L4FS supports whatever filenames the underlying filesystem
supports, other than spaces in filenames. It reserved space'd
filenames for extending directories.
