If you are talking about the ones I think you are, they are self-tapping but
have a sort of "built in" washer and I haven't seen them except on
electrical stuff.
I'm sure there must be a special name for this type of screw but, if there
is, I don't know it unless it's "case screw" as used in PC's for the same
purpose but they are much shorter. You may have to adapt and use a standard
self tapping screw with a washer..
They are 3/4 of an inch long (about 1.5cm), by the way although I don't know
how wide and I can't find my micrometer at the moment to check.
