I think there's probably still some stuff about. Cambridge uni have only
really pushed to get rid of all their Acorn 8-bit 'junk' in the last couple of
years, and it was only a couple of years ago too that I went to a school
clearance where they had maybe 70-80 model Bs / Masters and related items. (I
came away with a car boot full; some other chap showed up with a van and
hauled the bulk of stuff away - his intention was to sell it but last I'd
heard nobody was buying so he'd sent most of it to the crusher)
There's a school I know of in Luton that still has a lot of beeb kit stored
away; we've got our eye on some of the Cub screens there + beebs for the
museum, but I'll let people know when they're ready to get rid of the whole lot.
Most of the schools will have dumped their stuff by now, but I'm betting
there's a handful where it's all still there stored away, and many more where
they still have a few machines lurking.
cheers
