Depends where you are - the Cambridge list seems to get a hundred or so 
messages a day (and has several thousand subscribers), whereas the local list 
out here where I am in the US has maybe ten messages per week (and no beeb 
stuff ;)

(The Cambridge list is run by a vintage computer enthusiast, incidentally)
