Actually there's probably more truth in that than they realised if that's the
system I have because I can never upload any attachments to messages that
are more than about 20K!!!

There's a howler in their User Guide PDF:
"With MailEnable there is no limit on email size
this ensures that all files are received which can be detrimental to
business and users alike"
