Just some fileserver software!
If you look back through the archives, you can find some posts from
me when I was trying to do the exact same thing.
awserver is available out there for free, but suffers (for me!) from
the same limit on filenames per directory that the a5000 does.
The level4 fs I ended up with is (for a while) up
here: http://www.irrelevant.com/bbc/Level4FS.zip (449KB; note - slow server.)
Unzip and use Omniflop to write the two disc images to a pair of 3.5"
floppies. Copy them onto the a5000, and edit the exports file* to
say where you want the shared area to start.
* - maybe, not got it where I can check which file you need.
You will probably need to change the station number on the a5000 too..
