PMS used one for their BBC RTC, and I've written code to access one - they
are very simple things - which I was trying to get working reliably on the
Electron for PMS, but unfortunately all the access timing issues on the
Electron were a big barrier.
I think I've used the Dallas thing in another non-Acorn related project
too.
