Sounds good. The vinyl for the BBC is pretty thick as I recall; I'd expect 
even if there was any effect it would be over many years, and I doubt that 
anyone *knows* for sure if there will be any effect.

Give the 3M stuff a go; at least it's removable too (I salvaged the vinyl
from 
a damaged Atom case the other week and it was a real pain getting the glue 
that Acorn used off!)
