Subject: Video problem <sigh>

Hihi

A chip I believe to be the video controller (number started VC) was
overheating in my BBC causing crashes after a while, it's soldered in
and there was nothing to attach a heatsink to so I've just mounted a
PC CPU fan above it (which is spinning slowly on 5v as it's designed
for 12)

Is this a common problem at all or just a result of having too much
stuff in the machine and is there a better solution I should try?

Thanks
