Fair enough. Perhaps it would make more sense to say it is an example of the
untidy programming of the ROM that has been referred to before.

I suppose one has to accept that the 80186 ROM only really exists to get
DOS-Plus started. Provided it does that, then it has fulfilled its purpose.
If it has bugs, or messy coding, that do not interfere with this one task,
then maybe that does not give any ground for complaint.
