Looks like someone has obtained a partial list of members then ( not
difficult and, alas, quite common) - possibly by joining the list for a
short time and collecting the email addresses (I have probably, up to now,
been missed as I don't contribute very often) and is spoofing the email
address (possibly to avoid spam filters).
I know I have had similar things happen but not with this particular list.
The fact that some are getting them and some are not, does suggest that the
list (other than as an original source), is not to blame and they are not
actually coming via the list (or we would all get them).
As far as I can see, the only solution would be to arrange the list like a
Yahoo group (when "reply" only brings up the list address and not the
individual and "reply all" does the same).
Would that be possible with this list? I think it has been mooted before but
wasn't possible.
Sad world.
Colin Hill.
