Why doesn't someone actually write a BeebWiki entry?

There is a stack of knowledge locked up in this list, but it isn't always
easy to ask the right questions.

I'd love to see all the accumulated wisdom of the list condensed on a page,
especially regarding transferring files to the Beeb on disc.

Well said bro, I was once long time ago, saying that I hadn't had time
to read everything on the list. I was told to the effect of "tough,
get off then...". It's not just a question of courtesy, if none of us
had the patience to contribute and help people on some basic
information more than once then what is the point of this list? I'm
glad and grateful though that JGH repeated this information about SD,
DD and HD 'cos I was confused. Now I'm confident that my 1770 DFS will
deal with an average 3.5" drive... just about to confirm something with
him about the disks, HD or DD?

Fiaz.
