Some months ago my Master PSU "died". After a hint from Sprow I
tried turing it on and just waiting. After about 15 seconds it
went burrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Beep!
 
It's so ingrained in me that if something doesn't come on when you
turn the power on, turn it off quickly before the machine destroys
itself! It's hard to make yourself ignore this.
