Subject: Standard file extension for BASIC 2 style code?

Hi,

I've just implemented a tokeniser and de-tokeniser for BASIC 2 as part of 
the next version of my ElectrEm emulator. If you're working in BASIC you
can select a menu option to either export your current BASIC work to an ASCII
file or import new BASIC code from an ASCII file. It's just a little bonus
nicety really.

As a result, I am wondering if there is an accepted file extension for BBC
BASIC typed out as ASCII? At the minute I'm just using .txt since the file
is ASCII text, but is there anything else that has ever caught on?
