Subject: Green BBC light?

In the early days when the Beeb was first released my friend purchased an A+
from a local High Street Acorn Dealer for ?299 which included OS 0.1 to OS
1.20 Upgrade, 16k Extra RAM (32k Total). He didn't have any of the
connectors fitted as he wasn't going to use any of them!

I remember this, because he had an argument with the High Street shop that
he needed another chip to play Defender and Monsters, I later fitted the
missing 6522 VIA chip underneath the 6502 for him, as the shop wanted to
charge him another 15+VAT to fit it, and he would need to take his Beeb back
to the shop.

So if this is a Full A - B upgrade, looks like the guy got a bargain, and my
mate got ripped off!

Andrew
