Subject: Programming lareg EPROMs

Hi,

The EPROM eraser turned up today. One click erasure of the first byte of
the EPROM (doh), and we're good to go....

EPROM loaded into programmer attached to the Amstrad 1640 PC (and with
the right EPROM type selected this time), and 10 minutes later, we have
a new 1 Mbit ROM :)

Plugged it into the M128 and..
*boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooop* *blank screen*.

<expletives>

Multimeter comes out, check of all the pins on the adapter board, turns
out A2 wasn't making it to the EPROM. One quick solder job later and...
*booop beep*.

My M128 is now running ADFS 1.53, DFS 2.28 (couldn't find a 2.29 image
:( ) and a Y2K fix :)

So I can confidently say, I can program 1Mbit MOS EPROMs.
