Even though the GoMMC plugs into one ROM socket it occupies two
ROM slots - one for the GoMMC control software and one for the
GoMMC-compatible filing system. Though, you don't have to actually
have a filing system in the RAM bank ;)

I haven't tried the GoMMC in ROM socket 8, but it wouldn't work as
expected. As the GoMMC wouldn't get an A15 signal I would either
see the GoMMC software or the RAM bank.

I'm going to rummage in my spares box and try and find a few 32K
SRAMs to plug into a couple of cartridges.

NOBODY expects the MACRO ARGUMENT INQUISITION! Our chief weapon is
unexpected addressing modes... unexpected addressing modes and local
branches out of range. Our two weapons are unexpected addressing modes and
local branches out of range and quoted argument lists. Our *three* weapons
are unexpected addressing modes, local branches out of range, quoted
argument lists, and an almost fanatical devotion to the pope. *Amongst* our
weapons are such elements as unexpected addressing modes, local branches out
of range... I'll come in again.
