Subject: BBC Master 128 problem
I wonder if one of the keys is stuck, it might even be
COPY if there is continual bleeping after start-up. If you
have another M128 handy you might try changing keyboards
to see if that helps.
It might also be an idea to make sure the CMOS RAM is
completely reset by holding down R as you turn the
machine on (if the keyboard works that is!)
Best wishes,
Ian

Subject: [BBC-Micro] BBC Master 128 problem
Hihi
Just got a master 128 a week ago, it was working fine up until today
(used it last night)
However now when I turn it on, I get a long beep and it seems to crash
at various points in startup
It also seems to sometimes keep beeping when at the "This is not a
language" prompt
Additionally, none of the keys (except break) work and most of the
time all three lights are on although sometimes one or none are on
I've reseated the few socketed chips in the machine but no joy, also
removed GoMMC and Uviprom chip to no effect -.-
Any ideas would be helpful
