Subject: BBC Problem

Hi,

I wonder if any of you could assist me regarding a BBC problem. I sold a
Model B on eBay a while ago; explaining on the advert that I hadn't tested
it on a TV but that it did do the usual BRRR-BEEP so I assumed it was in
order. The auction winner has now got back in touch with me claiming the
following fault:

"As soon as the beeb is powered up the BBC Basic 32k information
continuously scrolls vertically through the tv screen.  It moves upwards
from the start off position and off the top of the tv screen.  It then
appears at the bottom of the tv screen and moves to the top of the screen
and then dissappears.  This process repeats itself continuously making it
impossible to use"

Is there anything obvious that might be wrong? I have offered him another
BBC for free if he pays half the postage, which seems fair.

Any help appreciated!
