I should point out for the archive that I long since dumped NTL. You want
  http://www.sprow.co.uk/bbc/bbcbasic.htm
and that the file is now "unzip.bin" as some browsers were erroneously
trying to download "unzip.tkn" as a text file.

I think the subtle difference here is that Raf used *LOAD and *SAVE which
doesn't assume a Master is available, sort of the lowest common denominator
approach,
Sprow.
