Yes, I'd figured that out (I mean, that was rather obvious!), but if you
read my later post I need more than just printing characters, I want to be
able to print graphics, colour graphics and text, change fonts etc. For
that, you need a driver. I found a PCL printer driver for View that gives
bold, italic and underline, I am still looking for something that would work
with AMX Pagemaker and AMX SuperArt. I'd rather avoid having to write a PC
app to decode the output of the Beeb and send it to a Windows printer, it
affects the purity of just having the Beeb on its own. The Epson emulation
is not provided as default by HP, you have to buy a cartridge (for those
printers that take feature cartridges 1120c doesn't) many other brands of
printer include Epson emulation though.
