Subject: PC files to bbc
Sorry about the previous post
Well, for file transfers, DOSFS makes life very
easy for me and I am quite happy with it. My
knowledge of such things is limited but, really,
I don't need to use anything but DOSFS.
For example, I don't need to create .INF
files eg. to set load and execution addresses
to &2000, etc, until all the files that I want are on
the diskette that I put into my BBC machine with a
DOSFS ROM and then proceed as explained earlier.
I don't need to bother about using Omniflop
or BBC explorer 2; just having the DOSFS
ROM in my BBC machine is all that I need.
As Sprow indicated, it is very good as a "lowest
common denominator" tool.
Best wishes
Raf
