Infact you can by fitting it in the through connector holes (don't forget to
fit the bus terminating resistors!), but polarised right angled connectors
are usually bent the opposite way round to that which is required.

There are 5 solutions to this warning
 - use a non polarised box header
 - use a non polarised IDC female on the ribbon
 - pull the pins out with pliers and put them in the other way round
 - cut a second notch in the plastic
 - trawl the catalogues for reverse bend ones
