Subject: [BBC-Micro] BBC B progs on a B+128k - any known problems?
Hi folks. I'm about to slim down the number of beebs I have so I
can get round without climbing over them ;-)
If I standardised on a B+64k or B+128k, (as opposed to a plain
B), would I find a lot of B-based programs wouldn't run. Most of
the programs I've got revolve around hardware control stuff (see
BeebControl site), so they'll be a mixture of Basic and M/C,
usually driving/monitoring stuff via the user/analogue and 1MHz
bus ports.
I've got lots of untested legacy progs stored away to try out in
future years when I've fixed the respective hardware items, far
too much to test out before choosing which BBC model to keep. So
I'd hate to find I'd standardised on a model with inherent
problems running older B stuff.
Are there any known problem areas with B+ compatibility that
could screw up my plan?
Thanks,
-Neil F.
