Yes I do. :-)
Twin 5 1/5 and twin 3.5.

It was necessary to use 3.5 so I could use a Master disc created on the
Wintel PC with OmniFlop (see previous message), and then copy to a 5 1/4.
After a while I realize this is not really neccessary (perhaps).

My supply of 5 1/4 discs is rather limited, and have plenty of old 3.5 ones,
(which need to be sorted out though) so another reason to switch to the 3.5
drives. But you need two hand to handl them: It's a bit clumsy to use left
hand keep drive in location for inserting/ejecting the disc, and the right
to hold the disc. So a neat case is not only for cosmetic reasons!

Looks like it's becoming a DIMyself job then! :-)

Does that contain those 600 pages then, and you're sure it is complete?
More important perhaps, is that for version 2 of the FS software?
My MDFS reports after *VERS

SJ Research File Server ver 2.00/MDFS

If all applicable, I'm very interested:
I'll take it to private email.

Many people responded - also by private email - and all remarks are
consistant! :-)
(although the order of Fhds and Hdfs varies :-)

What fooled me was the two processor design of the HDFS - assuming a newer
design, and not realising the HD interface wasn't SCSI but MFM, and the
inclusion of a Tape Drive.

I'm happy with the MDFS as the top of it all!

In a few days I will buy a 100MB Conner HD for reserve.
Not sure if that HD will be recognised by MDFS though.
But I do want a spare.

I also have, but not tried yet, a SyQuest 40 MB removable, which I would
like to use for backups.
Lots of work and fun to look out for. :-)

Greetings,
Johan
