Hi Scot,

You could try holding down CTRL+C+BREAK then list the ROMS by typing *ROMS
hit RETURN then look for DFS which should be in ROM 9 if it is unplugged
then use *INSERT 9 then hit RETURN type *CONFIGURE FILE 9 and hit RETURN
then do CTRL+BREAK and you should get Acorn MOS / 1770 DFS / BASIC / >_ just
like the good old days...

Cheers

Dave ;)

Subject: [BBC-Micro] BBC Master fault?

Hi,,

I've a BBC master that doesn't seem to work,, I've had a look around the web
and cant find an answer I hope someone here can help.

The master powers up.

The screen shows

Acorn MDS (but that could be MOS)
Acorn ADFS

then the flashing cursor.

The only keys that seem to do anything are the Break key, the shift lock and
caps lock keys operate the LEDs ok.

I don't have anything connected ie disk or printer etc. connected.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance
