ta :) Doesn't look like there's any hardware support for arbitration (and I 
just saw Andrew's message confirming that there's not even any software 
support for it). the controller actually seems to have its roots firmly in the 
SASI camp - there's not even any support for unit attention or parity, which 
surprised me.

At some point I'll have to pick apart the Master AIV SCSI controller and see 
how that works (unless someone's already done so), but I suspect that doesn't 
bother with arbitration either (but probably does support /ATN and parity).
