A quck look at the headers on list mailings shows:

List-Subscribe: <http://lists.cloud9.co.uk/mailman/listinfo/bbc-micro>,
       <mailto:bbc-micro-request@...?subject=subscribe>

I'd suggest therefore that you need to add the "lists." to the email
address you are writing to.. (or use the web interface..)   This was a
change sometime last year I think..
