The address changed to "...@lists.cloud9.co.uk" a while ago - some time
around 
the end of January 2006 (a message was sent from the list owner to the list 
about the move).

We were told that the old address would be shut off at some point, but 
evidently it still works as half the population of the list seem to insist on 
still using it ;-) (but it doesn't apparently still work for subscribing - 
just for normal list traffic - as you've found out)

If the list admin's reading this: is there any way of configuring per user the 
format of the 'sender' field? I get everything from other list members as "bbc 
micro bounces" + my own email address + "@lists.cloud9.co.uk", which always 
makes me do a double-take! :-)  I seem to recall that it never used to do that 
and the "sender" field contents were a lot less alarming...
