Subject: BBC B found in the wild

Well, having heard stories of people rescuing Beebs from skips and car boot
sales, I've finally found my first tucked away in a junk shop!

I happened to venture inside a local 2nd-hand store a weekend or so ago, 
and whilst searching around I noticed a familiar sight - a beige looking 
box hidden behind a TV. I asked the owner if I could inspect it; with a 
bemused look on her face she pulled out a Model B (albeit in need of a good
scrub) with its Econet and ash-tray covers in tact. ?5 later I was loading
the BBC in to the back of my car complete with a bag of cables!

Bargain for a ?5 even its filthy condition, and to my surprise "Brrrr-Beeep" 
as soon as I switched it on. A closer inspection reveals it to be an Issue
7 but with the older style keyboard. Somebody seems to have made a bit of
a mess of the case over the years, but it's survived.

Anyhow, that's another saved from the scrapheap....
