Hmm... didn't realise that. I knew you could have more than one FS present in 
the system, but I'd always thought there was just one active at any one time - 
so something like a request to copy of file would be delegated to the code for 
the active FS rather than handled at a higher level.

It's one of those things I'd just never actually needed to do before...
