A few weeks ago I finally got around to building an ESR meter for detecting
dodgy capacitors - it's been extremely useful so far with several ailing
systems brought back to life.
My iss. 4 machine was still working last time I tried it. I've got a couple of
issue 3's though, both with monster heatsinks on the video ULAs; one of those
just gives a flashing cursor at startup which is probably either caps or duff
ULA...
cheers
