Well I don't need to worry about anything other than the 8-bit stuff, so it's 
a case of whatever works best for that, I suppose. There's perhaps nothing in 
it (in which case I'll keep the ADF32 I think; I've got a manual for it and 
I've put quite a few hours on it with the Domesday system, so I'm reasonably 
happy that it works reliably)

Not sure if you saw my classiccmp post asking about directly grabbing RGB via 
a PC; although I've not had any specific answers to that, I did have someone 
email me privately about a gadget which would take composite in (both NTSC and 
PAL) and output to VGA. It wasn't too expensive, so I'm tempted to give one of
