Hi Michael
Disc 1 is the only disc containing the CP/M OS and as such side 0 of
the disc is in 80 Track, single density DFS format. The remaining six
contain many of the applicaion program files and they are double
sided, 80 track, single density Acorn CP/M format.
The ABC 100 and 110 can also use double density formatted discs but to
my knowledge nobody has any copies. The boot ROM on the Z80 board
fitted to these machines is different to that fitted on the Z80 second
Processor in order to be able to load CP/M from a Winchester drive, an
ADFS floppy as well as the standard single density Acorn CP/M format
discs.
If anyone knows someone who has a copy of the ADFS type CP/M discs
there are a number of us who would like copies please.
