Ah.

All I really need is the rated current of the Plus 3's PSU. From
memory, it's 18VAC as marked on the casing. I don't want to blow up an
Electron PSU which probably won't be powerful enough. Someone gave me
the rating I think, but I seem to have lost it and I never made any
use of the information.

I'm sure I have an inkjet printer PSU somewhere that's around 18VAC,
which might do the job.
