Chris started enjoying riding bikes more and getting out with his family, 
and scaled down his Beeb collection. I've not seen or heard from him in a 
year or so, tbh. He shut 8BS down in response to some quite negative emails 
about the design/layout, and decided to rethink it.

I started to sort out 8BS again last year but work took over, and then 
seeing that beebwiki was alive and well it didn't seem worth duplicating an 
already-blossoming resource.

If anyone wants I can probably put the old site back up but there's so many 
CGI scripts kicking around that won't work without a pile of tweaking...

It all boils down to having time to sort it I guess.
