I currently have some 650 MB in some 3,500 html, jpg and pdf files in
Chris's Acorns (I suspect the total when I catch up with my collection will
be in excess of 1.5GB)

Chris's Acorns documents my collection and as such I will continue
developing it. My main interest is hardware and the related documentation
and software, rather than games or applications. While I have a lot of
Aconsoft software I have no plans to add it to Chris's Acorns especially as
STH does it so much better.:-)
However I have no issue with links to/from bbcmicro.com or bbcmicro.com
hosting copies of some or all my files/documents. Indeed having looked at
WoS I think the Acorn equivalent would be a great achievement and I would
like to participate in creating it.
One thing I picked up on the WoS was their approach to copyright for
downloadable software (http://www.worldofspectrum.org/permits/ ) I don't
know if anyone is collecting permissions from copyright holders, but if not
then we ought to start doing so.
