It's very interesting hearing about the Master motherboard being sold
separately.  I remember getting an enquiry about re-configuring a
machine which had flat batteries, but the owner said it was used in some
sort of industrial environment and didn't have a keyboard.

It wonder if it was with these applications in mind that Acorn made the
Master 128 boot up correctly without a keyboard connected, whereas
the BBC B won't.

I'm still trying to remember wher I saw a bunch of Master 128 boards in 19"
rack cases, and what they were for. Farnell used to sell the M128
motherboard for industrial use.
