Subject: Offered: BNFL LVROMs
Hi chaps --
At the Wakefield Show this year a nice kind gentleman brought along some
LVROM discs he'd had gathering dust in a cupboard for years.
There are a small pile of British Nuclear Fuels learning LVROMs, with
manuals. They look in rather good condition although I cannot vouch for the
data or whether it will be readable.
Sadly these seem in a format I can't read on my Philips LV player/Domesday
setup, and on further digging are for a system I don't know about involving
an LV player and the A3000. Therefore these are useless to me.
I could eBay them (raising further funds for Domesday spares), but since I
was given them this doesn't seem ethical and I would prefer they go to a
good home.
To this end, would anyone like them who WILL make use of them please? I am
perfectly happy to post them at cost to the person who does want them, but
the stipulation is that they will at least be investigated and passed on if
not of any use. If you do sell them on, you must donate the proceeds to
charity.
Please drop me a line if interested, and feel free to pass this email on to
other Acorn enthusiast groups which may be more appropriate to the Acorn
A3000.
Cheers
