Subject: *CONFIGURE Q
Hi,
I've been using BeebEm and Mess for development of my code, I have
things working on the BBC-B/B+ and want to test them on the Master,
but have run accros a problem in Mess.
Mess seems to emulate MOS 3.50, whereas BeebEm (and my real Master),
both have MOS 3.20. On the 3.20 machine, both real, and emulated I can
reset the cmos, use a of *fx162,6,255 *fx162,7,255 to replug the roms
and then use *configure commands to set things up how I want them,
default FS, screen mode etc.
However on Mess, I hold down 'r' to reset the cmos, and then do a break
as instructed, the machine then resets into basic with adfs enabled.
Fine, I should be able to configure things with *configure, however
typing something like *configure file 9 just prints 13 (the rom number
for adfs), and does not change the filesystem.
What if anything am I doing wrong ?
Cheers.
Phill.
