comp.sys.sinclair is alive and well, although it seems you've got one possible 
route here already :-)

last time I tried my ZX80, it worked but wouldn't play nicely with any modern 
TV set that I could lay my hands on :-( (same ghosting issues which seem to 
affect lots of old micros with modern sets)
