Subject: Copying DFS->ADFS

Hi.

There's a few ways of doing it.

You can do it with the filing systems using *COPY, but I'd recommend using
TreeCopy (supplied on the utilities disk) or copyfiles (In the Master
Library) to copy the disks on the Beeb itself.

You can also do it on the PC to the CF image. Open the image in ADFS
explorer, and open the .ssd (or .dsd etc) file you want to copy, create a
new directory in ADFS explorer and just drag and drop the files across. If
you have an ADFS floppy image, just use 2 ADFS explorer windows.

As for the other question, I'm not sure on the source of 1.32. I received it
on an image a while back and it has a blank (C) string - I'm not sure if
it's based on the Acorn ADFS, or another manufacturer, but it would
certainly have to sacrifice something to allow the SWR workspace. Neither
image initially worked with the CF card, but I found a few bugs in the code
to do with sector addressing, and then Michael Firth further helped me with
more bug fixes and getting the Tube working in 1.33.

If you need any support on the CF system specifically, you can always mail
me direct at mark@...

Thanks, Mark.
