Subject: Domesday System needed for TV appearance
Did anyone hear any updates on the names and transmission dates for this
series, as it sounds very interesting?
The original thread said that it was called "Electric Dreams", and at least
one episode was expected to be on BBC 4 on the 6th February. However,
DigiGuide can't find any programmes in the schedules called that, and there
doesn't seem anything likely to be it under a different name listed on the
6th.
Thanks
Michael

Subject: [BBC-Micro] Domesday System needed for TV appearance
I have been contacted by Peter Sweasey about the BBC Four
series on 1980s technology, which was mentioned in the
Prestel thread. Apparently they are doing a feature on the
Domesday Project and would like to feature a working machine,
but they can't find one they can use that still works.
I gather that the filming will take place in Reading, so I said
that my Domesday Machine was too far away to go that distance,
and it wasn't a real Master AIV anyway (although this didn't seem
to matter).
If anybody can help, could they get in touch with Peter Sweasey
at peter.sweasey@... or on 07808 864282 or
020 7241 9306.
Best wishes,
Ian
