There was one still up and running a couple of years ago.  It emulated a
Teletext/Prestel/Viewdata system.  Unfortunately, I can't remember what
it was called...

Ahh... a google found it.  It is/was heaven.affection.net, run by James
Coates, who manages this mailing list.  Unfortunately, it no longer
seems to be active.
