Subject: Byte Back Meetup (Sat 7th March)

Hey all --

It being Byte Back tomorrow, can I suggest a few listmember beers if 
anyone's around? I'd suggest meeting up at the Acorn room at 6pm and we'll 
go find an ale or three. I'll blog it at http://blog.joel.co.uk and post to 
the list when I'm at the convention venue itself.

On another note, if anyone's coming to exhibit please can you make effort 
to bring:

- Cat5 network cable - PLEASE, 'cos my spool's gone missing and I have 
nothing to patch the Econet down with.

- DC PSU wall-warts. Ideally need two of these for the powered Econet 
terminators.

Admittedly the first two are relevant if I can't find a Maplin Electronic 
en-route.

Also if anyone can provide:

- The Master Econet tools on a 5.25" in case mine doesn't work and we've 
got a dead CMOS.

- Cave, etc. on 5.25" (I haven't had time to convert them).

I've packed the MDFS, drop-leads, clock box, terminators, 2 CUBs, a couple 
of Masters, a Model B, some 5.25" drives, plinths, Domesday (of course), 
and a load of other gubbins.

I will be loitering around probably in a black disco-ball Death Star 
t-shirt, invariably with a Canon EOS camera around my shoulder, and 
stopping at the nearest Premier Travel Inn so if anyone else fancies 
sharing cabs so they can have a drink in the evening please let me know.
