It's been talked about before, but I don't think anyone with the combined 
smarts and free time has done it :-)

I think some sort of generic PC-based Econet interface would be a better bet 
though, couple that with Linux / *BSD drivers and it'd be dead easy to make a 
bridge or do other useful things...

I've got a kosher Acorn Ecolink board, but that's hardly a good solution for 
everyone - these days there must be far better ways of adding Econet 
functionality to a PC.
