Yes. The only thing *Configure does is read/write the CMOS RAM, it
doesn't try to talk to any peripherals or anything. The only effect
of any *Configure command is at the next Break.
 
One thought - you don't have an external CoPro as well? If so, you
will also need the relevant *Config. INTUBE or *Config. EXTUBE.
