It just looks like whoever installed it ran most (all?) of the flying leads
over the top
of the PCB, rather than underneath, as recommended. Certainly the red wire
going
to IC46 is one of the standard ones, as it is pulling off the chip select
line from ROM
slots 12 and 13.

present,
which would mean you would only get a '64K' banner, as I mentioned before.
Do you really need COMAL and VIEW as ROMs, rather than use SWR?
If so, I guess one option is for you to get hold of one or two 27256 ROMs
(or
compatible) and program (or get someone to program) some of your 4 16K ROMs
into 32K ones. That would then free up more ROM slots.

I'm afraid I went down the IDE CF route, rather than GoMMC, so can't help
you directly
there.

>From the instructions on JK's site, it doesn't sound that complex though -
you need a
'special' version of GoMMC (unfortunately it doesn't seem to say what's
different about the
'special' one)

Then you install 5 jumpers horizontally across all the pins of the
configuration header, install
it in a ROM socket, and make sure that the relevent 'S' link is on the right
pair of pins, rather
than the left (default, and the position all yours are in in the pictures
you posted).

If you are wanting to install it in the empty ROM slot in the pictures, then
it is the topmost of
the 5 jumpers you need to move (S19 is actually a track, so its S18 you'll
be changing)

Hope this helps

Michael
