Back in the 1980's, the BBC Micro barely never got imported to Sweden.
Probably it was too expensive, but what really delayed it was the state
telephone company responsible for licensing computers and other electronics
complained the BBC computer caused too much interference. I've always
thought it was BS hiding another reason, but perhaps the units they received
for testing in c:a 1984 had exploded power filters but nobody told them? :-P
But yes, I figure all interchangeable components should be replaced whenever
I service the power supply.
Best regards
