Subject: Econet on USB

Hi,
It might possible to use a usb device. This experimenter board is USB1 it
might be better to use something based on the http://www.cypress.com/ which
is USB2 based. Mainly for timings / speed and latecy.

The Ethernet to Econect router suggested a while back would have been ideal
but sadly no IOS (Firmware) was developed for it.

It might be easier these days to implement Ethernet on the BBC especially
with the amount of easily available chips and stacks written on PIC chips
that are available.

I suppose it depends on what you would like to use it for.

Chris

Would it be possible to use something like this in conjunction with a Master
Econet module to connect up USB to Econet?
